Mood Ring

This paramagnetic ring is a popular souvenir item sold across Fon-Talamh. Different locations sell rings with different shapes and engravings.

When worn, the ring changes color to reflect their mental state. A creature that can see the ring and makes a successful DC 10 Wisdom (Insight) check can discern whether you are happy, sad, angry, disgusted, surprised, or afraid. if they succeed on the check by 10 or higher, they can discern the main source of that emotion as well.

For example, you might communicate fear caused by a monster you just saw around the corner, grief at the loss of a friend, or happiness derived from pride in your performance in combat.
